Erickson is situated in the Rural Municipality of Clanwilliam, near Leda Lake, on Highway 10, between Onanole to the north and Minnedosa to the south.

With an elevation of 2054 feet, Erickson is the highest town in Manitoba.

The Erickson Municipal Airport is a fully approved 3000 ft paved airstrip. It is approved for air ambulance service and has approved lighting for night flying.

Regular bus service is provided to Erickson by Grey Goose Bus lines.
Erickson Collegiate
The Home of the Eagles is a grade seven to twelve high school. It offers general information, school calendar, student council, scholarships and awards, newsletter, course descriptions and Parents Advisory Council.
