Internet Chess Server Clients are specialized chess programs you load on your computer for enhanced access to sites that support them, like ICC, FICS, chess.net and VOG. Generally, playing chess with in Internet Chess Server Client program provides better speed and features that simply playing with your browser, but has a longer learning curve.
